Refurbishment project in Bristol featuring Sieger casement windows, casement doors and bifold doors

This stunning home refurbishment in Bristol has resulted in a home that has the perfect balance between contemporary and traditional.

Large wooden beams line the tall, peaked ceiling, a strong display of traditional English architecture. This same natural wood surrounds the windows and doors throughout the home. The use of the natural wood material and the grey stoned tiled floors are strong displays of biophilic design.

Bringing the outside in is something that many homeowners now seek, as having that strong bond with nature within the home can help to reduce stress, among other benefits.

Natural light is another way to connect the internal living space with the outdoors, and the easiest way to do this is by incorporating slim framed glazing around the home.

Project Highlight

“All of the aluminium frames were finished in a dark grey colour, which contrasts beautifully with the light wood and white internal building finishes.”

This particular project utilised Sieger Casement Windows, our Sieger Lux Casement Door and a Sieger Lux Bifold, the slimmest aluminium bifold on the market. All of the aluminium frames were finished in a dark grey colour, which contrasts beautifully with the light wood and white internal building finishes. This contrast helps to give the interior space depth and character.

Our slim framed glazing systems are ideal for any projects thanks to their bespoke nature. They can also be used to provide any internal space with clear views of the outdoors, turning nature into a framed piece of live artwork to be admired from within.

The main living space has a stunning tall, peaked ceiling, and three Sieger Lux Bifold Doors connect the space to the garden. A three-pane fixed casement window sits above the three-pane bifold on the end wall, allowing an abundance of natural light to flow freely into the space.

The interior design style which utilises light colours, combined with the natural light in the room creates a bright and airy space, perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests.
