The Sieger® Lux Bifold is the slimmest bifolding door available in the world! These ultra slim thermally broken, aluminium bifold doors provide impressively uninterrupted views of the surrounding scenery.

The Lux Bifold is the latest advancement in bifolding door systems pushing the boundaries of modern architectural design. The slim frames combined with outstanding thermal performance provides architects with ground breaking design possibilities.

 

 

The Slimmest Sightlines: 30mm profile widths 

Max. Sizes: up to 3m tall and 1.2m wide per panel

Glass Specification: Structurally bonded glazing with a maximum thickness of 32mm

Configurations: inward / outward opening. No restriction on the number of bi-folding panes. Bi-parting, opening corners and pass doors possible.

Weather Protection: Air Permeability Class 4, Water Tightness Class 7A to 9A.

Thermal Insulation: Uw values from 1.6W/m2k

The Lux Bi-folding door possesses exceptionally slim framing which can be used in a multitude of configurations, including opening corners, to create beautifully wide-open apertures. The glass is structurally bonded to the frame which further enhances the ultra slim profiles resulting in exceptional design qualities.


There is no restriction on the number of bifolding panes and each pane can be manufactured to a maximum size of 3m high x 1.2m wide.


The locking mechanism is integrated into the slim frames and operated via a euro cylinder key lock and can be designed with integrated drainage to deal with the levels of rainfall seen in the UK climate.


Not only are the profiles of the bifold doors the slimmest in the world, they also achieve incredible performance values that are extremely competitive for such a slim framed system.
