We at Sieger Systems couldn’t have been happier to work on this beautiful contemporary Somerset house, tucked away in a spot surrounded by rolling hills and mature trees. The goal was to open up this home, let in more sunlight, and help the homeowners feel closer to the greenery outside. It was exactly the kind of project we love, and our glazing solutions made it happen.
Bi-Fold Doors that Changed the Perspective
The homeowners were heart set on having their living room flow right into their garden, like the indoors and outdoors were one space in this contemporary Somerset house. Our Sieger 120 Bi-Fold Doors were the perfect fit. These doors open so smoothly, and the aluminium frames look sharp without being bulky. When they’re folded back, the whole room fills with fresh air and light. It’s hard to overstate how much it changes the atmosphere; the property feels alive, no matter the season.

Casement Windows to Tie It All Together
To keep the look consistent, Sieger Slim Sliding Doors and Windows were supplied for a few other spots where they needed better airflow and more daylight. These slim frames don’t detract from the view, and they match the rest of the setup perfectly. Every room in this contemporary Somerset house now feels bright and inviting. And since these windows are great at keeping the heat in, with hardware that’s barely noticeable, they’re as practical as they are good-looking.

A Window That Feels Like a Painting
One of our favourite aspects of this project was the Sieger Casement Fixed Window added in the dining area, and the result is a clear, wide-open view of the woods beyond this contemporary Somerset house. With such a large window, it’s like the landscape is part of the room. According to the homeowners, it’s a seriously special place relax in the morning.
