CASE STUDY

Woodwind

Woodwind used multiple modern glazing system to create a stunning architectural design

This home in Maidenhead opted for a unique colour for the new build’s glazing. To ensure the glazing was in keeping with the contemporary aesthetic, the frames were powder coated in RAL 7033, a grey/green colour.

Here the glazing is used as a design feature, complimenting the colour scheme of the other materials used and enhancing the overall design.

Slim framed casement windows from Sieger® systems were used across the front elevation of this property. The aluminium window systems boast slim sightlines to provide uninterrupted views of the surrounding garden, whilst offering flexibility of ventilation options.

Fully Glazing Package

Sieger can design a completely bespoke glazing package that has been tailored to suit specific design requirements and

double height entrance way with fixed glazing and a unqiue light fixture to create a well lit inviting and modern home entrance
elegant interior design using light colours to make the living spaces appear bigger and a frameless glass balustrade on the stairs

Sieger® balustrades were installed to various elements within the home, one of which was to the exteriors of sliding doors on the second floor. This highly versatile system creates a Juliet balcony design while natural light continues to pass through the panes and into the bedroom. Glass balustrades were also used to the rear of the property, framing an area of wooden decking.

Glass balustrades have been used again inside the home, accompanying the staircase to create a frameless banister design. The use of frameless glass balustrades not only creates a safety barrier but boasts a sleek, minimalistic finish.

Sieger® Legacy bifolding doors were installed, granting garden access, with a flush to floor finish, to seamlessly connect the outdoor and indoor living spaces. Each bifold leaf folds smoothly over each pane and slides to the end with ease.

The structure of the garden room is made up of bifolding doors and fixed structural glazing. Using these two differing elements gives the homeowners flexibility to vary how much ventilation and protection from the elements they require at any given point.

Sieger® sliding doors have been installed within the bedrooms on the first floor leading onto a balcony. Sliding door systems with slim framing provides unrestricted views of the garden and surrounding landscapes. These large walls of sliding glass are engineered to withstand any weather conditions and slide back and forth effortlessly.
